Andrew Tilley

Research Engagement Manager
An NPD specialist, Andrew has worked in a variety of roles in the food industry including research, quality assurance, sensory and product development. Most recently he worked as an Innovation Technologist at Vesco Foods Pty Ltd, commercialising a broad range of frozen and chilled ready meals for the Australian and international markets. He was also the co-founder of the food manufacturing business Gelavo, which commercialised an avocado based ice cream using low grade produce to reduce food waste. Currently, Andrew is a lecturer at Murdoch University teaching in the fields of Food Science and Food Product Development, along with his role as Research Engagement Manager at SIFT.
